The death took place on Monday at her residence in the Craven road at the advanced age of 91 of Mrs Stevens widow of Mr Robert Stevens who died last September at the age of 81.

Mr Stevens was for many years in the service of the late Earl of Carnarvon on his pixton estate and was held in great esteem by his lordship.

The funeral takes place today (Thursday) the first part of the service being held in the parish church at 12:00 o'clock.

Mr Hanington has charge of the Funeral arrangements.
