Bring the family to an event in the cemetery. You will be met by characters in costume and will have to join them in a walk allong some of the cemetery paths. Along the way you will be asked to carry out tasks that will increase the likelihood of memergising a ghost. The Great Memergiser will ask you to light candles and to chant magic words.

The tour finishes in the Chapel where there will be things to look at, things to think about and refreshments.

Are you brave enough to walk around a cemetery at night? Prepare for a spooky experience. Adults only.

You will be met at the Cemetery Lodge and then taken on a walk by the sexton. You will have tasks to perform to maximise the chance of at least one ghost appearing.

The walk ends in the Cemetery Chapel where there will be displays, photographs, mulled wine and other refreshments.

£5 per person, over 16 only.

In preparation scores of poppy crosses will have been laid on the graves of those who served in the military.

Steve Schollar will lead tours of the 20 Commonwealth War Graves at 10.00am and 12 noon.

Carol Brindley will lead her new Golden Couples Tour at 2.00pm. Tours start in the Chapel.
