There is no burial register information available for Emma Twitchen.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

Emma Twitchen
c1820-1859
Emma, her parents, siblings and half-siblings:
Emma was baptised on the 12th March 1820, at St Nicolas, Newbury, Berkshire, the daughter of Joseph and Harriet Bradley (nee Miel) who were married on the 25th April 1819, at St Nicolas, Newbury.
Emma’s father Joseph was a Carpenter. He was born on the 29th September 1797 and was baptised on the 5th November 1797, at St Nicolas, Newbury, the son of Thomas and Sarah Bradley.
Her mother Harriet was baptised in 1801, in Hampstead Marshall, Berkshire, the daughter of George and Mary Mial (nee Goatley) who were married in 1790, in Hampstead Marshall.
Joseph and Harriet also had the following two daughters baptised at St Nicolas, Newbury:
Eliza, born 10th August 1822, baptised 27th July 1823
Matilda, born 1st August 1825, baptised 21st August 1825
Joseph died aged 30 in 1827, he was buried on the 26th September, at St Nicolas, Newbury.
Emma’s mother remarried on the 28th December 1828. Her 2nd husband was widower, John Partridge.
John and Harriet had the following children baptised at St Nicolas, Newbury:

Hannah, baptised 1st April 1832
Thomas, baptised 8th March 1835 (died aged 2 years 7 months, buried 14th August 1837
George, baptised 18th March 1838
Henry, baptised 28th March 1841
Emma’s mother died aged 69 in 1869, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 8th December.

Witnesses: George Stillman and Mary Ann Gardiner
(Benjamin was baptised on the 25th February 1818, at St Nicolas Church, Newbury, Berkshire, the son of Benjamin (a Sawyer) (draft registration records father’s first name as John. Later recorded as John). and Jane Twitchin (nee Salter) who were married on the 16th July 1801, at St Nicolas, Newbury).
Benjamin and Emma had the following children (baptisms, St Nicolas Church Newbury):
Emily, 1839, baptised 5th January 1840 (father mistakenly recorded as Richard) dad a Fellmonger

Harriett, 1844
William Joseph, 1846
Benjamin, 1848, baptised 31st December 1848 dad a Labourer
John, 1850, baptised 29th December 1850 dad a Labourer
Charles, 1852, baptised 26th December 1852 dad a Labourer
Kate, 1855, baptised 27th December 1857 (with her brother Alfred) dad a Fellmonger
Alfred, 1857, baptised 27th December 1857
The 1841 census records Benjamin (20) as a Glover, living in Quaker’s Building Ground, Cheap Street, Newbury, with Emma (20) and their daughter Emily (1) (Benjamin has been recorded as Benjamem Twitchell on ancestry)
In 1851 Benjamin (33) was recorded as a Labourer/Pauper, living in Bradley’s Yard, Newbury, with Emma (31), Emily (11), (recorded as Emma) Ann (9), Harriett (7), Joseph (5), Benjamin (3) and John (6 months).
Emma died aged 40 in 1859, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 17th June.
(Benjamin remarried in 1860, His 2nd wife was Hannah Lewis. They had 7 children. Benjamin died aged 71 in 1888, he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 26th August.
