Elizabeth Ilsley

c1791-1858

 

Elizabeth was born in Berkshire she was baptised in Chieveley Berkshire on the 17th March 1791 the daughter of Tobias and Sarah Ilsley (nee Brazier) who were married in Chieveley in 1782. Tobias was baptised 10th August 1760 in Chieveley, buried 19th June 1833 in Chieveley. Sarah was born c1760 buried 22nd November 1828 in Chieveley.

Tobias and Sarah also had the following children (all baptised in Chieveley):

Joseph and John 1st July 1785

Benjamin 28th January 1788

William 27th March 1795

 

The 1851 census records Elizabeth (56), unmarried, “Late Householder” living alone in Granger’s Yard Newbury. She died in 1858 and was buried in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 30th June.
