There is no burial register information available for Mary Quarrier.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.
This information is taken from the accounts ledgers of the Newbury Cemetery Company that originally ran and maintained the cemetery.

Mary Quarrier
According to the 1851 census, Mary was born in Isleworth, Middlesex in the early 1800s though her birth year varies in the censuses & death certificate. Her maiden name is not known.
No record of when Mary married Thomas Quarrier has been found. Their daughter, Hannah, was born in Newbury around 1830 & baptised on 9 July 1834 at St Nicholas, Newbury with both parents named in the baptism records.
Hannah is likely to be the mother of an illegitimate son Thomas Henry (8654) in 1857 who sadly died at a year old & is also buried in NRC in 1858.
1841 census: Mary, 30, & Hannah ,7, are living in Samuel Beckett’s Lodging House near the Bull & Dog Inn, City, Newbury. The surname is mis-transcribed as Quirin.
1851census: The surname is mis-transcribed as Quander. They are now living In Sarah Williams’ Lodging House in Old Newtown Road, Newbury. Mary is 46 & widowed with no occupation mentioned. Hannah is 16.
Mary died, aged 54, on 13 October 1856 from Bronchitis. She is described as being the widow of Thomas Quarrier & the informant was Ann Haines of City, Newbury. Mary was buried at NRC on 17 October 1856 in a common grave in consecrated ground.
