There is no burial register information available for Laura Purton.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

Laura Purton
c1836-1853
Laura was baptised on the 30th November 1836, at St Mary the Virgin, Speen, Berkshire, the daughter of Francis (a Butcher) and Hannah Purton (nee Buckridge/Buckeridge), who were married on the 27th December 1830, at St Mary, Chieveley, Berkshire. (Both were single, Francis was from Thatcham, witnesses, Isaac and Sarah Buckridge/Buckeridge)
Laura’s father Francis was born on the 13th October 1806, he was baptised on the 6th January 1807, in Thatcham, Berkshire, the son of Israel and Sarah Purton (nee Lamb) who were married on the 13th August 1804, in Hampshire. Francis died aged 36, in 1841, he was buried on the 19th November, at St Peter, Woolhampton.
Francis and Hannah also had the following children:
Sarah, baptised 9th November 1831, at St Mary, Thatcham
Elizabeth, baptised 31st March 1833, at St Mary, Speenhamland
Hannah Maria, baptised 4th January 1835, at St Nicolas, Newbury
Francis, baptised 7th July 1839, at St Mary, Speenhamland
In 1841 Francis (35), Hannah (35) and their children, Sarah (6), (recorded as Maud on ancestry) Laura (4) (recorded as Samuel on ancestry) and Francis (2) (recorded as Freeman on ancestry) were recorded living in Speen, Berkshire. (Surname mistakenly recorded as Butin on ancestry)
Laura’s father Francis died aged 36, in 1841, he was buried on the 19th November, at St Peter, Woolhampton.
The 1851 census records Laura (14) as an Apprentice, living in Shaw Road, Speenhamland, Berkshire, with a William Wright (48), a Coachmaker and his wife Jane (30), a Staymaker.
Laura died aged 17, in 1853. She was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 27th December.
