There is no burial register information available for Sarah Goodman.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

Sarah Goodman

Sarah Goodman (1758 – 1850)

                              her Daughter Ann Willis (1795-1871)

 

Sarah Seymour was born circa 1758. She married William Harris on 9 May 1780 at St Nicolas in Newbury. William died in November 1810 aged 50 from decline and was buried on 9 November 1810 at St Nicolas in Newbury.

 

Sarah remarried on 1 October 1815 at St Nicolas in Newbury to William Goodman who was a widower. William died in December 1825 aged 65 and was buried at St Nicolas in Newbury on 28 December 1825.

 

Sarah was recorded with her daughter Ann Willis and her husband John Willis in Church Almhouses in Newbury in the 1841 census. John was were recorded a labourer. Sarah and Ann did not have any occupations recorded.

 

Sarah Goodman died in November 1850 aged 92 and she was buried at Newtown Road Cemetery on 6 November 1850.

 

Sarah’s daughter Ann Willis died in October 1871 aged 76 and she was buried at Newtown Road Cemetery on 13 October 1871.  (John is also probably buried at Newtown Road Cemetery but further research is needed)
