The articles below contain information about Agnes Hardy.
* She was a younger sister of William Corden II (see Ancestry below)
* Curiously she is listed as having three children surnamed Sharp.
* According to the Burial Records she died at No. 10 Donnington Square
* Her gravestone (Ch 7) bears the inscription:-
ILMO / Agnes, widow of W.H. Hardy / of Friern Barnet, Middlesex / who died Sept. 12th. 1910 aged 81.
* The husband referred to, William Henry Hardy, was not buried in NRC. However, his obit appears in:
Friday 25 January 1895 Newspaper: Hendon & Finchley Times and Saturday 19 January 1895 Newspaper: Barnet Press
Hardy was shown as:- "resident in the district for upwards of twenty years. Mr. Hardy was the secretary of the Colney Hatch Gas Company, the Brighton and Hove General Gas Company, the Goring and Stretley Gas and Water Company, and the Mid Sussex Water Company, as well as being accountant to the North Middlesex Gas Company (a busy man!). He left a widow but no family.”]
Mr. Corden’ is listed at the funeral.
