In the 1891 census she was living with her parents and siblings at St Mary’s Hill in Greenham. Ten years later in the 1901 census she was recorded with her parents, sisters Emma and Alice and others at 8 Adey’s Buildings in Stroud Green. Her father Charles was a garden labourer.
