Phoebe Spender
1796-1879
Phoebe Picket was baptised on the 18th March 1796 in Romsey Hampshire she was the daughter of Hugh and Elizabeth Picket (nee Roe) who were married in Romsey on the 15th February 1791
Phoebe’s siblings were:

Phoebe married George Spender on 17th January 1818 in Romsey Hampshire.
George was an Agricultural Labourer. They lived in Whitchurch Hampshire until at least 1851 but by 1861 they were living in Northcroft Lane Newbury, George working as an Ostler and Phoebe a Laundress.
George died aged 67 in 1861 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 24th August.
Phoebe was still living in Northcroft Lane Newbury in 1871 she died aged 84 in 1879 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 11th February.
