THOMAS BRAZIER
Son of Thomas Brazier, Tailor and his wife Caroline Elizabeth Horton Curtis (?)
Thomas Brazier was born 1812 married Dec Q 1839 to Caroline Elizabeth Horton Curtis
Children include:-
Caroline Louisa Brazier born Newbury 1845. She married William Lidderdale Goddard in London Jun. Q 1871 and they emigrated to America. William had a degree in medicine from the UK and US medical training. (Info Mary Livingstone Goddard of Colorado)
Thomas Brazier born 1 May 1859 married Annie Laurie Williams Titchiner, born Chievely 10 Mar. 1859 in Newbury Dec. Q 1880. Thomas was a plasterer. They had 6 children who all survived.

Annie Laurie Williams Brazier died 23 June 1948 aged 89 and is buried in NRC 28 June 1940

Leslie Norman Cecil Brazier
1896-1940
Leslie was Bricklayer, he was born in Newbury, the son of Thomas and Annie Laurie Williams Brazier (nee Titchiner) who were married on the 10th October 1880 at St John the Evangelist Newbury.
Leslie’s mother Annie was born on the 10th March 1859 in Chieveley the daughter of Charles and Ann Titchiner (nee Brazier) who were married on the 5th October 1856 in Oare, Berkshire. She died aged 89 in 1948 and was buried in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 28th June.
His father Thomas was a Plasterer, he was born on the 1st May 1859 in Newbury, the son of Thomas and Louisa Brazier (nee Hyland) who were married on the 16th December 1839 at St Nicolas Church Newbury. He died aged 81 in 1940 and was buried in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 21st December.

In 1881 and 1891 the family were living in Albany Place, Newtown Road, Newbury. By 1901 they had moved to 4 Bedford Place, Newbury. By 1911 they were living at The Ferns, 2 Arthur Road, Newbury. This census records Leslie (14) as an Errand Boy.
Leslie married Lily Florence (aka Florence Lily) Crook in 1921 (marriage registered in Newbury), they had 3 sons a daughter.
In 1939 the family were living at 2 Red Farm Gate, Shaw Berkshire.
Leslie died aged 44 on the 24th November 1940, he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 27th November.
