Elizabeth Louisa, her parents, siblings and early life:
Elizabeth Louisa was born on the 12th July 1866, in Bagnor, Berkshire, the daughter of James and Alice Plumb (nee Marshall) who were married on the 4th February 1850, at St Mary, Kintbury, Berkshire.
Elizabeth’s father James was a Gardener. He was baptised in 1827, in Hampstead Marshall, Berkshire, the son of Thomas and Sophia Plumb (nee Povey) who were married in 1821, in Hampstead Marshall.
Elizabeth’s mother Alice Marchell was born in Bagnor, Berkshire. She was baptised on the 9th April 1826, at St Mary the Virgin, Speen, Berkshire the daughter of William (a Labourer of Bagnor) and Amy Marshall
James and Alice also had the following children:
Alice Jane, born 1850, baptised 28th July 1850, at St Nicolas, Newbury
Emma Jane, born 1852, baptised 31st October 1852, at St Nicolas, Newbury
James William, born c1855, baptised 25th February 1855, at St Nicolas, Newbury
Frederick Thomas, born c1857, baptised 1st March 1857, at St Nicolas, Newbury
Fanny, born 1859, baptised 17th July 1859, at St Nicolas, Newbury
Ann, born 1861

The 1851 census records James (23), Alice (25), their daughter Alice (0) and two visitors, living in Wash Road, Newbury, Berkshire.
In 1861 James (31), a Market Gardener, Alice (38) and their children, Alice (10), Emma (8), James William (6), Frederick (4), Fanny (2) and two servants, were living in Old Newtown Road, Newbury.
In 1871 the family were recorded living in Bartholomew Street, as follows: James (42), Alice (44), Emma (19), James (16), Fred (14), Fanny (12), Annie (10), Elizabeth (8) and Louisa (3)
The 1881 census records James (52), a Market Gardener, living at 1 Ashton Court, Newbury with Alice (54) and their children, James William (26), a Market Gardener, Frederick Thomas (24), a Maltster’s Labourer, Elizabeth (16), a General Domestic Servant, (mistakenly recorded as Elizabeth Ann) and Ann Louisa (13) (Louisa Jane).

Witnesses: Frederick Plumb and Fanny Plumb
(Albert was born on the 28th January 1864, in Newbury, Berkshire. He was baptised on the 1st May 1864, at St Nicolas Church, Newbury, the son of William (a Labourer) and Elizabeth Tucker (nee Curtis) who were married on the 25th December 1852, at St Nicolas Church, Newbury).
Albert and Elizabeth Louisa had the following children:

Ethel, born 6th August 1896 (died aged 70 in 1966, buried in the NRC on the 27th August)

Albert was recorded working as a Grocer’s Porter in 1891, a Carman in 1901, a Painter’s Labourer in 1911 and an Iron Foundry Labourer, at Plenty & Son, in 1921.
Albert and Elizabeth were recorded lived in Rosemary Terrace, Enborne Road, Newbury, in the 1891, 1901, 1911 and 1921 census records the 1939 Register.
Household members in 1891: Albert (27), Elizabeth (27) and their children, Albert (4), Edith (3) and William (1).
Household members in 1901: Albert (36), Elizabeth (37), Albert (14), Edith (13), William (10), Jane (9), Harry (7), Ethel (5), Ellen (3) and Beatrice (3 months)
Household members in 1911: Albert (47), Elizabeth (46), Ellen (12), Beatrice (10), Harold (8), Edward (6), Frederick (5), Robert (4) and Margaret (0)
Household members in 1921: Albert (57), Elizabeth (56), William (31), Ethel (25), Harold (18), Edward (16), Federick (15), Robert (14) and Margaret (10)

Albert and Elizabeth continued to live in Rosemary Terrace, Enborne Place, until they died.
Elizabeth Louisa died aged 82, on the 3rd February 1949, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 8th February.
Albert died aged 90, on the 15th June 1954, He was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 15th June.
