ALFRED EDWARD BOYER

Mr. and Mrs. George Boyer last week were bereaved of the fifth surviving son, Alfred Edward, who had been suffering from a distressing malady for some time past.

The funeral took place on Friday afternoon, and the deceased having been a former member of of the choir, the first part of the Burial Service was performed at the Parish Church, the choristers and Mr. J. S. Liddle, Mus. Bac., being present to render the musical portions of the service. The hymns "Brief life is here our portion," and "Peace perfect peace." were quietly and pathetically sung, the eyes of the friends present resting meanwhile upon the florally covered coffin in the nave.

The officiating clergymen were the Rev. W. M. Hope and H. B. Brew. The mourners were Mr. and Mrs. George Boyer (parents), Mr. Charles Boyer, Mr W. Boyer, Mrs. J. Povey, Mrs. W. Boyer, Misses Nelly and Dora Boyer, Leslie Balding Boyer and Mr. W. Balding.

Amongst the numerous floral offerings were those from the following friends and relatives: Mr. and Mrs. Wintle, Mrs. Wittenbury Williams, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Coldicutt, William and Sally (Mr. and Mrs. W. Bracker Haskell, Salisbury), Mr. and Mrs. E. Turner, Mr. and Mrs. W.
