Thomas was baptised in Newtown Hampshire in 1807 the son of Joseph and Anne Bridgeman

Joseph and Ann(e) also had the following children baptised in Newtown:

Elizabeth 1818

Catherine 1821

Jane 1825

On the 12^th November 1830 Thomas (23) was sentenced to three months imprisonment in Winchester Goal, for destroying game.

On the 18^th September 1839 Thomas (35) was sentenced to three months imprisonment in Winchester Goal, for an offence against the game law.

The 1881 census records Thomas (76) as a Pauper in the Newbury Workhouse. He was recorded as an unmarried, working as an Agricultural Labourer.

Thomas died aged 82 on the 10^th June 1886, he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 12^th June.
