  Southern side of sloping top: In Loving Remembrance of/ John Burrough/ born February 7th 1833/ died Sept. 19th. 1901 "Gone Home". Northern side of sloping top: Ann Burrough/ eldest daughter of J.W. & Ann Burrough/ Who died Aug. 30th 1850 aged 22 years/ "My flesh and my hearty fainteth but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever".//
