FUNERAL OF MRS. SALKELD

General sympathy is felt for Mr.George Salkeld of 43, West-street, in the great loss he has sustained by the death of his wife.

The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon, the first part of the service being held in the Congregational Church. The Rev. A.H. Fowler officiated, and in addition to the family mourners there were many personal friends present. The interment took place in the old cemetery.
