CHARLES TOM WEBB
DEATH OF AN ANGLER
The death has taken place of Mr. Tom Webb at the age of 66. For twenty-five years he had lived at the Lock-house, near Greenham Mills, and was generally regarded as in charge of the lock, but as a matter of fact, he had nothing to do with it. He was an ardent fisherman, and one of the riverside officials of the Newbury Angling Association. The funeral takes place to-morrow (Friday) at the Newtown-road Cemetery.
