The Reading Mercury announcement is set out below, the Newbury Weekly News one recorded him in error as Henry Langton.

 

LANGTON – on the 22nd inst., at his residence, Corn Wharf, Newbury, Mr. Thomas Langton, corn salesman, aged 73.
