MR C W DOE is instructed to Sell by Auction, on Wednesday, the 8^th day of October 1856 at 10 o’clock, on the premises, the property of Mr Charles Batt, (taken for non-payment of rent, and for the benefit of creditors), the whole of the compact BREWING PALNT, comprising of 200 gallon copper, with upperback lined with lead, liquor back and underbacks complete, 2 pair working squares, a 3 quarter mash tub, large coolers, a 400 gallon and smaller casks, lead trough, malt mill, pump and piping, and the usual brewing utensils.

In the Bar is a painted counter, 4-pull beer engine and piping, a spirit engine, gas burners, and fittings, settles, benches, &c. &c.

The Household Furniture consists of 4-post and other bedsteads and bedding, drawers, wardrobe, tables, chairs, Brussels and other carpets, 8-day dial, looking glasses &c.
