THE LATE MRS. J. FLINT

FUNERAL SERVICE AT ST. MARY'S CHURCH

The death occurred at her residence in Donnington square on  October 13th of Mrs. Grace Flint, widow of Mr. John Flint. J.P. coal rnerchant of Newbury. She had reached the great age of 92 years. The funeral took place on Friday afternoon The first part of the service being at St. Mary's Church. Speenhamland. The vicar. Rev. W. J. Hollowayofficiated. The family mourners were: Mr. Henry Flint son, Miss Isabel Flint and Mrs- W. G. McCall (daughters), Miss Godwin. Nurse (Mrs. Wakeley), Mary (Mrs. Evans). Others. present in church were Mr. George Wintle, Mr and Mrs. C Flint, Mr J H Moon (representing Newbury Choral Society) Mr Arthur Davis (Newbury Amateur Orchestral Union) Mr D Cameron (Newbury Amateur Operatic Society  Mrs. F. W. Neate, Mr. Tom Webb, Miss Webb, Mrs. Angus Marshall. Mrs. Victor Corden. Miss Chisman. Alderman A. C. Elliot; Mr. F. S. Hickman. Mr and Mrs. N. Liddiard,  Rev. John Wilding. Misses Hewett, Mrs. Longden. Mrs. Lipscomb, Miss Emily Hodgetts, Miss Wells, Miss G. Wells, Mrs. A. J. Giles and Mr. Walter Brooks; and at the graveside, Mrs. Baldwin, Mrs. Fisher, and Mr. W. Head.

 The interment was  at the Old Cemetery, Newtown road. The-senders of wreaths and flowers were : Henry and Isabel; Elton. Mac and Elizabeth (Gerrards Cross): Nurse and Mary: Mies Maud Godwin and Allie; Mr. and Mrs. O Flint; Erica: Bruce and Margatret. (Kew Gardens),Mabel and Frank; Nat and Emily; Miss Nellie Porter : Miss Ethel M. Elliott: Mr. and Mrs. W. Fisher. F. Richardson and A. Pearce; Mrs. B. Bryant,: Mr. and Mrs. F. S. Hickman: Mrs J. Coe; Mr. W. Brooks; Mrs. and Miss Chisinan: the.Presideut and Members of the Newbury Operatic Society; the Misses Blake Winchester, Mr: and Mrs. Angus Marshall, John Mary and Mrs. Reyes: Major and Mrs. Longden; Mrs. and the Misses Liddle: the Directors of Messrs. W. Brain and Son Ltd.: Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Odes; Mr.. and lira. W.. Brooks: Mrs. Brown and the Misses Hewett; Marian: Mrs. H. Burton and Miss E. M. Shaw. (Hanipatead); Mrs. IL H. McCall and Margaret Werraris Cross): Mrs. Goodwin Shaw and daughters 4Broinley). The funeral arrangements •were carried out by Messrs. Camp Hopson and Co. Ltd., Nev.-bury.
