PENFORD.—The remains of this deceased lady, who died on Saturday morning last, were yesterday interred in the Newbury Cemetery, the funeral service being conducted by the Rev. J. Pate. The mourners included:

Mr. Penford (the widower), Mr. W W. Penford. Rev. E J. Penford and Mr F. W. Penford (sons), Mr. H. Mullings, Ipswich, (son. in.law) and Master R.. Penford ( grandson ).

A number of friends were also present to testify their sympathy and respect. Beautiful wreaths were placed upon the coffin, and were sent by Mr. Penford and family; by Mrs. Pate, Mrs. Nash, Mrs. Joseph Hopson, Mrs. H. J. Midwinter, Mrs. W. Blacket, Miss Wareham, Mrs. Bell, wives and daughter of deacons of the Newbury Congregational Church ; the assistants at Northbrook street. the servants, workroom employees, Mr. and Mrs. W. Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hopson, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hopson, Mrs. Stradling, Mr. and Mrs J. Stradling, Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Hopson, Mrs. Coles and family, (Andover), Mr. T. H. and the Misses Pratt, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Staples, Mr. and Miss Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Mclndoe, (Bath), Miss Mason, (Folkestone),_ and Mr. Brewer.
