South kerbstone, slope: In Loving Memory of Emily Rolfe who died Dec. 3rd. 1938 aged 79 years // North kerbstone, slope: Also of Henry Rolfe, husband of Emily Rolfe, who passed away March 22nd. 1948 aged 88 years. // East kerbstone, slope: At Rest //
   
  Good with clear engraving. Kerbs & MIs on kerbstones partly buried.

    Henry had his own dairy business assisted by his wife, Emma Emily nee Fisher of Kintbury. The family lived at Hope Cottage, 6 York Rd, Newbury. They had 9 children, 2 died (1911 census). Henry left £934.
