Website offline

Server failure takes the website down for a day.

Those of you who have tried to acccess the Friends' web site today (28th March 2017) will have been getting an error message saying "Server Error 500 – Internal Server Error".

This was caused by a hardware failure at the company that hosts our site, making the database that holds all our burials and everything else unavailable.

The site was offline from first thing this morning and not restored until about 6pm. 

We (the committe and the web master) apologise to all our visitors who were unable to access the site today, but the problems were outside of our control. We hope you will continue to enjoy all that is on our site and we will continue to make more information available from carious resources as time goes on.
