In the Beginning... A return of the re-enactment

Ros Clow's very successful re-enactment of the enquiry into the creation of the cemetery is back for a second run

Back in May 2011, The Friends of Newtown Road Cemetery put on a re-enactment in the Town Hall of the Parilamentary Enquiry that led to the creation of the Cemetery in 1847. The play was very successful, but the limited venue of the Town Hall meant we had to unfortunately turn some people away.

So for those that missed it first time around, we are re-running the play on Sunday September 11th (The Discover Newbury Weekend) at the Town Hall. The shows will be at 4:30pm and 6:15 pm.

Tickets are available NOW from the Corn Exchange box office or on their website at:

Book early to avoid disappointment.
