2/ THOMAS MEACHER was born in 1909 in Walthamstow, Essex. to a PROVISIONS WAREHOUSEMAN & a Leather Worker. In 1927 aged 17 he was listed in GPO registers as a Certified Wireless Whatcher. He came to live with Uncle & Aunt, the CALLOWS atthe Falkland Arms in Bartholomew Street. Arthur Callow was brother to Thomas's mother ELIZA 'LILY' He married girl IVY MAUD POCOCK in 1932. They lived at 9 BUCKINGHAM ROAD, NEWBURY and had 2 children before he died in 1936.
