On Cross and Steps facing East: In Loving Memory Of/ Vashti/ the dearly loved child of/ G. & V. Cottrell/ died July 1st. 1919/ aged 14 years./ "She is not dead, the child of our affection/ but gone into that school/ where she no longer needs our poor protection/ and Christ Himself doth rule." Top of South Facing Kerbstone: In Loving Memory Of George Cottrell, a dear husband and father, died April 3rd. 1945 aged 70. East Kerbstone: Peace Perfect Peace.
