James Richard Perrett

James Richard Perrett’s birth was registered in the June quarter of 1861 in Newbury he was the son of James & Elizabeth Perrett (nee Gale).

James Richard’s father was recorded as a Blacksmith in 1851, 1861 and 1891, an Iron Founder’s Labourer in 1871 and a Gardener’s Labourer in 1881. The family were living in Pound Street (in 1851), The Litten (in 1861), Bartholomew Street (in 1871), Litten House (in 1881) and Argyle Road (in 1891).
James Richard died in Newbury in 1862 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 29th January (the same day as his sister Ann Maria Gale)
His father James died aged 70 in 1891 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 21st September.
His mother Elizabeth died 71 in 1893 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the7th May
