Albert Taylor

1900-1901

Albert was born in Newbury in 1900 he was the son of Archie and Rose Harriet Taylor (nee Hunt) who married in Newbury in 1897. Albert’s father was a Farm Worker (Cattleman).

Sadly Amy Matilda (aged 2) and Albert (aged 5 months) died in 1901, both were laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery, Amy was buried on the 14^th February and Albert on the 26^th March.

The 1901 census records his parents and brother, Walter Charles Alfred (2) living in Monkey Lane Newbury.

The family were living in Bedfordshire by 1902 and were recorded on the 1911 census living in Stopsley Luton but by 1923 the family had returned to Newbury.
