George Applegate

1881-1883

 George was born in 1881 in Newbury, he was baptised on the 27^th September 1882 at St Nicolas Church Newbury and was the son of Phillip & Ellen Applegate (nee Hurren) who were married on the 5^th March 1865 at St Mary’s Church West Brompton Middlesex. Phillip and Ellen were both born in Notting Hill London and Phillip was a Hairdresser. Sometime between 1872 and 1873 the family moved to the Broadway Newbury

George’s siblings were:

George died aged 22 months in 1883 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 26^th May. His brothers Herbert and Leonard were also buried in the Newtown Road Cemetery.
