John Lipscomb(e)

He was born c. 1814 in Marlborough, Wilts. He was the husband of Eliza Elizabeth.  They had 9 children John (b.1837), William (b. 1839), Alfred (b. 1843), Eliza (b. 1845), Mary Ann (b. 1848), Esther (b. 1850), Albert (b. 1853), Edwin (b. 1856) and Matilda (b.1859).  His occupation was Master Chairmaker.  He died in Newbury on 10June 1869 aged 54 years. He is  buried with his wife Eliza Elizabeth and their daughter Eliza Payne.
