According to the 1851 census Lucy was born in Freefolk, Hampshire. (Possible baptism: 27th November 1791, in Laverstoke, Hampshire, the daughter of John and Sarah Goodier).
In the 1815 census of Newbury, Lucy Coodcher (21), a servant and John Clements (30) were recorded living on the east side of the Bridge, in Newbury, Berkshire, the home of John King (45), a Mealman and his family.
Lucy Gudger married John Clements on the 4thAugust 1816, at St Nicolas, Newbury. Both were single, witnesses were Rich Powell and Ann Foster.
John Clements was a Miller. He was born c1781 (place unknown)

Lucy was widowed again in 1841, Thomas died aged 45, he was buried on the 11thDecember, at St Nicolas, Newbury.
The 1851 census records Lucy (60) a Charwoman and her daughter Susan (15), a Servant, (recorded as Susannah) living in Northcroft Lane, Newbury.
Lucy died aged 62, in 1852. She was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 12thNovember.
