George Farr

1795-1864

George was born on the 10^th September 1795, he was baptised on the 15^th October 1795, in Whitchurch, Hampshire, the son of Mary Farr.

The 1851 census records George (55), as a Stationer, living in St Mary’s Hill, Newbury, Berkshire. His cousin Mary Ann Smith (19), a Servant, was recorded living with him.

George (65) was recorded as a Retired Stationer, lodging in Simmons’s Yard, Newbury, in 1861.

He died aged 67, in 1864 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 15^th February.
