Martha Hambleton

According to the 1851 census Martha was born in Newbury, Berkshire.

The 1841 census records Martha (60) living in Bartholomew Street, Newbury with her husband Charles (57) (no occupations were recorded for either of them. Their surname was transcribed as Hamilton on ancestry and Hamleton on familysearch).

In 1851 they were again recorded living in Bartholomew Street, Newbury. Martha was recorded aged 72, Charles aged 69 was recorded as an Agricultural Labourer. (Surname recorded as Hambleton)

Martha died aged 85 in 1861, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 18^th February
