Frances Woodward was born in Thatcham six March 1847 and died aged 76 on the 10th of January 1924.

His wife Ann died first in November 1912 age 64.

He was connected with the lancasterian school and the Royal Navy and worked with Hawkins and canning at the West mills brewery cheap St.  He had a shop which sold lamps and mineral oil.

His eldest son George immigrated to Canada and returned for WW1 and was injured.
