Henry Viner
He was born c.1865 in Chippenham, Wiltshire. He married Sarah Ann Canning in 1889 and a year later their daughter Florence Annie was born in Newbury. In 1891 they were living at 22 Waterloo Place; his occupation Grocer's Porter. He was a well-respected member of the Salvation Army and the Order of the Rechabites.

He died aged 35 years old from pneumonia and he was buried on 14 May 1900.

After his death his daughter Florence Annie went to live with her uncle and aunt Samuel George Pocock and Mary Jane (nee Canning) at Lilac Cottage, Old Newtown Road. She became a draper's assistant and married in 1914. Research to date has found no record of the whereabouts of his wife Sarah Ann.
