William was born in Berkshire. He married (as William Kimbel) Elizabeth Allen on the 12th August 1795 at All Saints, Brightwalton, Berkshire.

(Elizabeth was baptised on the 29th November 1772 in Wickham and Hoe Benham, Berkshire the daughter of Thomas and Sarah Allen).

Known children of William and Elizabeth were:

George Kembel born 21st April 1796 (baptised on the 21st September 1796 at the Upper Persbyterian, Newbury)

Harriet Kimble born c1801 (baptised on the 18th October 1801 in Wickham, Berkshire)

Hannah born c1807

Elizabeth born c1810

Jane Kimbel born 5th March 1816 (baptised on the 7th April 1816 at the Upper Presbyterian, Newbury)

 In 1815 William Kimbel (44) a Thatcher, his wife Elizabeth (40) and their children George (18), Harriet (15), Hannah (8) and Elizabeth (5) were recorded living in the City Newbury.

In 1841 William Kimble (65), Elizabeth (65) and their daughter Jane (20) were living in Northbrook Street, Newbury. William was working as a Labourer, Elizabeth and Jane were working as Agricultural Labourers.

William died aged 78 in 1850, he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 9th August (recorded in the Accounts Book as William Kemble, surname recorded on the GRO website as Kimble)

In the 1851 census Elizabeth Kimble (78) was recorded as a Pauper/late Laundress, living in Shaw Lane, Newbury.

In 1861 she was recorded aged 90, living with her married daughter Elizabeth Terry (50) and her family in Winscombe (Winchcomb) Place, Newbury (surname recorded as Kimble)

 Elizabeth died aged 93 in 1862, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 22nd July.
