Louisa Frances Medland (nee Golding)

Birth: 1st quarter 1844, St Germans, Hopsford, (Hessenford?) Cornwall, England 

1851. census: lives at The Vicarage, Brimpton with father Rev. Edward Golding and mother Louisa Grace Golding (nee Elliot).

Aged 7, she is the eldest of six children at that time Also living with them are 3 other family members and 5 others.

Marriage: 3rd qtr. 1863 to Rev: William Medland (born in Hastings, Sussex) Children of Marriage: 5 girls;

Death of William Medland: 1871

Death of Louisa Mediand: Aged 29, December 1873, buried on 26th December {Feast of St. Stephen} in Newtown Road Cemetery.


These little girls were left orphans after their mother died, all aged under 9

Louisa also lived in the Isle of Wight, Hampshire, Charlwood, Surrey, Herstmonceux, Sussex, St. Leonards on Sea, Sussex, then at 6 Porchester Villas, Newbury, Berkshire.  William ended up as assistant priest at St. John's Church, dying two years before his wife.
