Thomas was baptised in Newtown Hampshire in 1807 the son of Joseph and Anne Bridgeman

On the 12th November 1830 Thomas (23) was sentenced to three months imprisonment in Winchester Goal, for destroying game.

On the 18th September 1839 Thomas (35) was sentenced to three months imprisonment in Winchester Goal, for an offence against the game law.

The 1881 census records Thomas (76) as a Pauper in the Newbury Workhouse. He was recorded as an unmarried, working as an Agricultural Labourer.

Thomas died aged 82 on the 10th June 1886, he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 12th June.
