James Young

1852-1853

James was born in Newbury, he was baptised on the 20^th October 1852 at St Nicolas Church Newbury, the illegitimate son of Maria Young.

James died aged 8 months in 1853, he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 20^th May.

His mother Maria was born c1832 in Twyford Berkshire

In 1851 Maria was working as a House Servant, living in Northbrook Street, Newbury with a William Salisbury (44) and his family. William was a Builder.

Maria married William Rumble in 1856 (marriage registered in Newbury. William was born c1835 in Greenham).

The 1861 census records the couple living in Greenham, Berkshire. William was recorded as a Shoemaker and Maria, a Shoe Binder. William died aged 28 the following year.
