Staples Family – John Staples

John Staples married Mary Miller in 1849 at Marylebone (as George John Staples). Mary died in 1881 aged 66 and John remarried Helen Quinton. John died in 1900, and Helen in 1911 (prior to the census). John is buried in the Newtown Road cemetery grave LN (E) 9.

John and Mary had one daughter, Anne Maria Staples (see attached sheet). She moved out of the family home between 1881 and 1891 and worked as a teacher of music, living at various places around Newbury.
