Anna Maria Harrison 

She was the wife of Edward Harrison, who together with his brother Joseph took over their father's - Richard Harrison - carpentry and builder business in Bartholomew Street in September 1847. She was born Anna Maria Dredge c. 1826 and she married Edward Harrison at St. Dunstan in the West, London on 19 July 1849. Her father was George Dredge, who was a blacksmith in Bartholomew Street. He married her mother Sarah Goodfellow on 17 October 1819 at St. Nicolas Church, Newbury.

Their children: George Richard born 1850 Newbury: he became a joiner/carpenter and moved to Exeter.

Sarah Maria born 17 Oct. 1852 Shoreditch. She was a dressmaker, unmarried, died at the age of 90 and she was buried in the Cemetery on 26 March 1943. Anna Dredge born 1855 Newbury. She became a shop assistant employed by George Wintle, a linen draper at 10 Northbrook Street. In 1880 she married James George Mathews, saddler and harness maker whose business eventually moved to the Market Place. She died on 21 June 1902 aged 46 whilst staying with her mother at 8 Craven Street and she was buried in the Cemetery on 24 June (Mrs. P. Code W134, page 21).

Twins Emily and Alice born 1858 Newbury. Alice became a milliner and went to London (1881 census). Emily lived with her mother at 8 Craven Street. Later she lived with her 2 spinster sisters at 23 Craven Road. She died aged 72 years at Ingleside Nursing Home, St. John's Road, on 4 May 1931 and she was buried in in the Cemetery on 8 May. Mary Kate born 20 January 1865. She became an elementary school teacher, unmarried. She lived with her mother before moving to 23 Craven Road with her 2 spinster sisters. She died at the age of 82 on 6 March 1948 at Oak Lodge Nursing Home, Newbury and she was buried in the Cemetery on 9 March. Her husband Edward died on 27 January 1869 at the age of 44 and he was buried on 3 February. She was executrix together with William George Adey, builder, and Nathaniel White, rake maker. She continued to live at Harrison's Yard, Bartholomew Street, and she was listed as a freeholder in the 1871 census and living on her own means thereafter.

Her father died on 28 March 1872 aged 78 years and he was interred in St. Nicolas's Churchyard. She was executrix to her father's will together with Charles Nutley, brewer. She moved to Craven Street, aka Craven Road, with her 3 spinster daughters Sarah Maria, Emily and Mary Kate. She died on 21 November 1911 at 8 Craven Road (not 3 Craven Street as per death announcement), aged 86 years and she was laid to rest in the same grave with her husband on 25 November.
