Florence May Elliott (1899 —1901)  Albert James Elliott (1900 —19011

Florence May Elliott was born circa September 1899 in Newbury, the daughter of James and Mary Ann, nee Owen, Elliott. Her brother Albert James was born circa December 1900. James Elliott had married Mary Ann Owen on 24 December 1892 at St John in Newbury.
In the 1901 census James & Mary Ann were living with daughters Mabel aged six, Ethel aged four and Florence aged one and son Albert aged three months at 5 Ham Terrace, Kings Road in Newbury. James was recorded as a wood moulding machinist.
Albert James died August 1901 aged eight months and was buried at Newtown Road Cemetery on 14 August 1901.
Florence May died 23 October 1901 aged two years and one month and was buried at Newtown Road Cemetery on 26 October 1901.
An announcement appeared in the Newbury Weekly News dated 31 October 1901 which read:-

ELLIOTT Oct 23 at 5 Ham Terrace, Kings Road, Florence May, the dearly loved child of James and Mary Ann Elliott aged 2 years and 1 month.
James and Mary Ann continued living in Newbury and in the 1911 census were still living at 5 Ham Terrace. James died 21 November 1935 and Mary Ann on 2 March 1941, by then she was living with her daughter Dorothy Shaw at 122 Bath Road in Thatcham. Both were buried at Shaw Cemetery.
