Sarah Randell

c1790-1861

Sarah was born in Newbury. She married George Randell (born c 1808 in London Middlesex. no definite marriage found)

The couple were living in Newbury by 1830 as George was listed in the 1830 Pigot’s Directory as a Boot and Shoe Maker in Bartholomew Street.

In both the 1841 and 1851 census George and Sarah were recorded living in Bartholomew Street

George died aged 52 on the 28^th March 1860 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 2^nd April

The 1861 census records Sarah (71) as a Shoe and Boot Shopkeeper in Bartholomew Street.

Sarah died aged 71 on the 7^th June 1861 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 15^th June.
